Daniel Ricciardo says that he is not worrying about Red Bull's position in the pecking order, but is nonetheless wary of Ferrari's pace.

The Italian squad set the pace during three of the four days of the first test at Jerez and the Finn was again rapid as testing resumed at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Thursday.

While Pastor Maldonado clocked the overall quickest time, Raikkonen set his time on the slower Medium compounds - compared to Maldonado's Softs - with Ricciardo third, also on the Soft tyres.

"Again Ferrari seem to be solid, I think in any case they look pretty good," he told assembled journalists, including F1Zone.net. "Again Mercedes I'm sure will be there; those two seem to be setting the early pace, see if they bring it in Melbourne, I'm sure they will.

"[But] I've seen it all before in testing, I'm not worrying yet, not worried at all, just the joys of testing, that’s more the frustrating part, I just want to get to Melbourne with the same tyre [compound], same fuel [levels]."

Ricciardo also added that Renault is making progress with its power unit after a disrupted opening test.

"I feel there’s more power there to be used, now we’re just trying to mould it to a point where we can use it in the right places, but it does feel like there’s more ponies in there so it’s encouraging."
