Daniel Ricciardo says that Red Bull will be satisfied if it can carry forward the pace which it displayed during Friday's practice sessions for the Belgian Grand Prix.
Ricciardo was third fastest to Mercedes pair Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton across both sessions at Spa Francorchamps and, having claimed his first 2015 podium at the most recent race in Hungary, believes finishing second best would be another positive result for the team.
"Generally I think if we can stay third and fourth at this track it would be good," said the victor of the 2014 race.
"It will probably be closer tomorrow as the gap from behind will close up a lot more, but let's wait and see.
"Hopefully we can maintain these positions for tomorrow. It would be good to find some more time on the Option tyre, so we’ll do our homework tonight, like every team will."
Kvyat finished behind Ricciardo in fourth position and believes the bulk of the time lost by the team is in the second sector.
"The conditions were pretty unusual for Spa today, with the hot weather and we had two good sessions," he said.
"As a priority, we need to find some time in sector two."
