Daniel Ricciardo faces a sizeable challenge even to score points at Red Bull's home event after being hit by a 10 place grid drop.
Reliability problems at the start of the season left Ricciardo with a shortage of new parts from his respective allocation and he will use a fifth engine at the Red Bull Ring this weekend.
Consequently, Ricciardo will start 10 places lower from wherever they qualify.
Ricciardo will be joined towards the back of the grid by McLaren's Fernando Alonso - who faces a penalty - while Jenson Button may also drop places.
Red Bull originally confirmed that Daniil Kvyat would face a grid penalty, but only notice of Ricciardo's fifth engine has been given.
