Renault believes that it is heading in the right direction after securing its best result of 2015 at the Monaco Grand Prix.

Daniil Kvyat claimed fourth position while Red Bull team-mate Daniel Ricciardo took fifth, with Toro Rosso's Carlos Sainz Jr. in 10th place.

"We arrived in Monaco focused on one thing; delivering consistent and reliable performance," said Renault Director of Operations Remi Taffin.

"We leave knowing we achieved this aim. It’s a step forward and follows our expected development curve. With another box ticked, we need to keep to this plan in the coming races.

"We know it will be hard, there’s no doubt about it, but this result confirms we are on track and going in the right direction.

"We will not give up until we are back to where we need to be."
