Red Bull Racing unveils RB9

Red Bull Racing has unveiled the car they hope will take them to their fourth successive championship.

The RB9 will be raced by Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber.

The car incorporates purple livery following Infiniti's title sponsorship of the team.

The car is the ninth since Red Bull Racing took over the team at the start of the 2005 season.

Newey added that the RB9 is an 'evolution' of the title-winning RB8 and that although there is a vanity panel, "it doesn't extend very far forward otherwise it becomes unjustifiable in weight."

"There's a fierce determination to keep both [championship] trophies in the cabinet here [in Milton Keynes]," said team principal Christian Horner.

"We had a very strong finish last season, but it was hard as the season was so long – it was important for me to enjoy being home," said reigning champion Vettel. "Pretty soon though I started training again, preparing for the new season and I’m very excited because this is the first time I’ve seen the car in one piece. I’ve seen little bits, but it looks very nice, so now we’ll get to see if it works as expected. I’m excited to get going again, to get back in the car, start testing and then go racing. Then, we’ll finally find out where we are."
