Red Bull has confirmed that Alex Lynn has joined their junior team after announcing that just three drivers will be part of the roster in 2014.
Lynn spent 2013 racing in the Formula 3 European Championship, where he finished in third place.
Lynn capped off his 2013 campaign with victory in the prestigious Macau Grand Prix.
The Brit will race for Carlin in GP3 next season.
"I think that it is obviously fantastic to be privileged enough to join the team that has produced so many Formula One drivers and that includes the greatest driver of our generation so far," said Lynn, referring to reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel.
Carlos Sainz Jr, who finished in 10th place in GP3 in 2013, will switch to the Formula Renault 3.5 Series.
The Spaniard raced in selected rounds for Zeta Course in 2013 but will replace champion Kevin Magnussen at DAMS.
"It is great to be joining the Dams team, I tested for them one year ago, before there was any plan for me to compete in Renault 3.5 this year," he said.
"Immediately we had a great feeling and we have remained in contact since then and finally we have been able to get together for next season. It is a great opportunity, they have shown that they were the best last year and hopefully we can continue the same way."
The third Red Bull youngster, FR2.0 champion Pierre Gasly, will race for Arden in FR3.5 next year.
"For next year I think that the goal is clear, I have seen from this year and previous seasons that it is possible to do a good job in the first season so the goal is to win the championship," said Gasly.
