Kimi Raikkonen says a 'smoother' weekend enabled him to finish on the podium for the first time in 2015, behind runaway Mercedes drivers Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton.
Raikkonen started from third on the grid and converted his position in race trim as he added to the rostrum finishes he achieved in Bahrain and Singapore.
The result, allied to a sub-par race for Valtteri Bottas, ensured Raikkonen finished fourth in the final standings.
"We started better this season but obviously not been an ideal year, but that’s how it goes sometimes," he said.
"The speed has been there but mistakes and problems, stuff like that, the results haven’t been great many times.
"But today, this weekend, was better, everything was working well, it went smoothly, car handling well and it was good, not enough to beat these two [Mercedes] but we did our best."
