Kimi Raikkonen is remaining coy about his plans for the 2013 season and whether or not he will stay with the Lotus F1 team.

The Finnish driver returned to Formula One this year after a two season absence during which he competed in the World Rally Championship, a couple of NASCAR Truck races and tested a Peugeot 908 Le Mans car.

When asked if he was remaining in Formula One next season, Raikkonen replied "You never know. There are a lot of nice things to do other than Formula One. Right now we have options and we’ll see what happens".

When pushed about his plans, Raikkonen added, "I always said that I’m not desperate for Formula One and when I feel like doing something else I will", he said. "Now I’m enjoying it, I’m in a good team with nice people to work with. We’ll see what happens. There is a lot of different racing and doing just normal things in your life outside of Formula One. I will wait and see"

In his typically laconic manner, Raikkonen said that he doesn't care if he wins a race this season. The 2007 world champion currently lies third in the championship with six podium finishes and was asked as to whether he thinks Lotus can win one of the remaining seven races.

"I don’t know. We’ll keep trying and try to score more points every race and hopefully improve. If we end up winning it will be great. But whoever has the most points at the end of the year deserves to win the championship. If that happens it’s a good thing for us, but if it comes with a win or without I don’t care"
