Kimi Raikkonen says nothing Ferrari tried improved the handling of his SF16-H as he struggled during practice for the Canadian Grand Prix.
Raikkonen was eighth quickest during the second practice session at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, over a second down on Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton.
Ferrari team-mate Sebastian Vettel was able to emerge as Hamilton's closest challenger across one lap but Raikkonen conceded he struggled, despite trying a variety of approaches.
"It’s obviously a far from ideal day," he commented.
"We just struggled to make any sense of the car. It’s one of those difficult days. We want to make the car handling better. We didn’t manage to do it.
"One of those days where it keeps changing and nothing seems to work exactly as you hoped. We tried many things and will need to go through them for tomorrow."
