Lotus F1 driver Kimi Raikkonen concluded the pre-season tests by the topping the timesheets on the last day at the Barcelona circuit. Driving the Lotus E20, the Finn set his best lap of 1:22.030.

Raikkonen set his fastest time during the morning session and conducted a race simulation during the afternoon session. His race simulation was disrupted by a red flag caused by Kamui Kobayashi in the middle of the afternoon session. The Finn completed a 65-lap run on four sets of Pirelli tyres (three soft and one hard) and was lapping in the 1:28 to 1:29s throughout his four stints.

Fernando Alonso ended the day second. The Spanish driver completed 115 laps of the Barcelona circuit, focusing on understanding the behavior of the Ferrari F2012. His time was followed by Bruno Senna, Nico Hulkenberg and Kamui Kobayashi.

Following the morning session there was little change in the standings in the afternoon, as teams focused on long runs in preparation for the Australian Grand Prix, which will take place in Melbourne in less than two weeks.

Lewis Hamilton, Vitaly Petrov, Michael Schumacher, Pastor Maldonado and Daniel Ricciardo completed the top ten. Sebastian Vettel did very little running today, completing only 23 laps in the Red Bull RB8 due to gearbox problems.
