Caterham driver Charles Pic has been reprimanded after ignoring a red light during second practice for the Korean Grand Prix.

Pic set the twentieth fastest time in second practice but failed to stop for the weighbridge.

'The driver failed to proceed to the FIA garage for weighing when signalled to do so,' read the stewards decision.

'He admitted having seen the red light and that the official pointed to him.'

'However he claimed that he believed the light was for the car behind him.'

The reprimand is Pic's second of the season.

He picked up his first in Belgium, when he rejoined the track in an unsafe manner during practice.

If a driver picks up three reprimands in one season, they will sustain a 10 place grid penalty for the following event.
