Honda's head of motorsport Yasuhisa Arai has insisted that no decision has been made with regards to McLaren's driver line-up for the 2015 campaign.

Honda will return to Formula 1 in 2015 as McLaren's engine supplier and the team has yet to confirm its driver pairing for next season.

Jenson Button and Kevin Magnussen currently race for the team, but persistent rumours suggest that Honda wants to make a marquee signing ahead of its Formula 1 return.

But Arai insists that Honda, which revealed an image of its new Power Unit on Wednesday, and McLaren are unlikely to discuss the topic of drivers at the Japanese Grand Prix this weekend.

"We are constantly talking about which drivers we would like to see and whilst McLaren is here in Japan it is only natural that we organise some meetings with McLaren," he told Sky Sports News.

"But I don’t think we will be discussing the topic of drivers given that nothing is decided."
