Reigning Constructors’ Champions Mercedes has unveiled its W07 Hybrid, as it bids to collect both titles for the third successive campaign.
Mercedes has dominated the sport since the start of 2014, claiming 16 victories from 19 races in each season with both the W05 Hybrid and W06 Hybrid.
The W07 Hybrid will be piloted by triple World Champion Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, who remain at the team for a fourth successive season.
"After a highly successful season all round in 2015, our priority has been to identify the areas in which we were weakest and to try to improve on those," said technical chief Paddy Lowe.
"Our objective is excellence in all areas and, while we had some fantastic results last year, there are many areas in which we can still be much better.
"That's the kind of culture we try to instill throughout the whole organisation - one of constantly striving to reach something better.
"We had a number of races that didn't go to plan in 2015 - Singapore in particular - so there were a lot of things that needed improving for 2016. We are seeking optimisation absolutely everywhere."
Hamilton and Rosberg conducted a shakedown of the car at Silverstone on Friday, while further glimpses of the W07 Hybrid were given by Mercedes through social media platforms on Saturday.
Mercedes will conduct an official launch in the pit lane ahead of pre-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya early on Monday morning.
Hamilton will then sample the car for a full day of testing, before Rosberg takes over on Tuesday.
