It has just been announced that Dr. Colin Kolles and HRT F1 Team have decided to part ways for the 2012 season, the Spanish outfit having reached an agreement with Kolles regarding his contract with the team.

This is due to the new direction that the team want to take and the decision that the new owner Thesan Capital have made as well as the move to Spain for the team. Kolles' contract as team principal will end tomorrow on the 15th of December and we should expect a new team Principal announcement before the new season begins.

It is believed that in 2012 the team will undergo another name change to the Spanish National Team, they have already signed Pedro de la Rosa the former McLaren Reserve and test driver for two years.

The chassis of the new car will be built in Munich, Germany and the team Headquarters will be moving to Spain. There is still one driver to be announced at HRT F1 and on the recent FIA entry list there was no engine supplier. The team have been using Cosworth engines for the past two seasons.
