Nico Hulkenberg expressed his delight after his sixth place finish secured fifth spot in the Constructors' championship for Force India, the squad's highest finish in the sport.
Hulkenberg dropped two positions at the start but used the undercut to get ahead of Red Bull's Daniil Kvyat and cruised to sixth place.
His result means that Force India has amassed 120 points and now cannot be caught by nearest competitors Lotus.
"[It was] just a poor start, wheel spin straight away, I think the clutch was not set perfectly for the grip level so lost a position straight away then [another] to a Red Bull at Turn 2 which we got back from undercutting," he said.
"From there on it was managing my own pace, we had to run longer on prime which was challenging, but successful sixth place, [was the] maximum
"We’ve secured the fifth place which is great news for us, [the] best result in the team’s history, [it] shows the progress that we’re making, deeper pockets for next season so heading in the right direction."
