Sebastian Vettel needs a twenty-five point lead in the championship to clinch his third successive world title this weekend. Vettel currently leads Fernando Alonso by ten points.

Here is how Vettel can do it:

• If Vettel wins the race, Alonso must finish outside of the top four
• If Vettel finishes second, Alonso must finish no higher than ninth
• If Vettel finishes third, Alonso must not score any points

Red Bull Racing will most likely clinch the Constructors Championship in Austin: Ferrari must take a 1-2 finish with Red Bull scoring less than five points in order to take the battle to Brazil.
