Horner, Di Montzemolo deny Vettel will move to Ferrari

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has denied rumours that Sebastian Vettel will move to Ferrari for 2014.

Reports following the Monaco Grand Prix linked the reigning world champion to Ferrari, with those rumours being reported again today by BBC Sport and The Telegraph.

But Horner says that his man will not be moving to Ferrari.

"Without a shadow of doubt (Vettel) will be part of Red Bull team in 2014", he said.

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo also downplayed the rumour.

"I've always said don't want two roosters in the hen-house. It creates instability in the team", he said.

Vettel has a contract with Red Bull until the end of 2014 but it is believed that he has get out clauses. Fernando Alonso's Ferrari deal runs until the end of 2016.
