Honda is expecting their UK base to be up and running by June this year.
The Japanese manufacturer is returning to the sport as a power unit supplier to McLaren, rekindling the partnership which reaped success in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Honda revealed that last month they moved their motor sports development base within Japan to further strengthen its development organization for F1 and other races.
Honda also announced that the installation of the dynamo and assembly facilities at their UK base in Milton Keynes will be completed in June 2014 'to further reinforce the already solid setup in preparation for racing.'
Honda did not reveal any specific information about their V6 power unit, but said that 'the company is making steady progress in developing the power unit.'
