Rio Haryanto says his focus will be firmly on his performance at this weekend's German Grand Prix amid uncertainty over his future in the sport.
Haryanto's initial sponsorship package covered him until only Hungary, though he has been granted an additional race, ostensibly to aid his prospects of securing funding for the remainder of the year.
This weekend's German Grand Prix marks the final race before a four-week summer break, which should enable his management sufficient time in order to seek additional sponsorship.
"Everyone has been incredible and my sincere thanks for that," he said.
"The team have been very supportive and also the fans, so I’m really happy that I will be racing here.
"It’s a big weekend for the sport, returning to Germany - the home race of our powertrain partner – and also the final race before the summer break, so I intend to put all the speculation regarding my future to one side and concentrate on the racing here in Hockenheim.
"We’re working as hard as possible on the future behind the scenes, but that’s where I want to keep that side of things for this weekend."
