Lotus driver Romain Grosjean is set to receive a five place grid penalty at the Monaco Grand Prix after an unscheduled gearbox change.
Grosjean suffered a gearbox problem during the preceding Spanish Grand Prix but went on to finish the race in eighth position.
"The above driver [Grosjean] did finish the last race in Barcelona and this gearbox change was before the six consecutive events expired," read the report issues by FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer.
"Therefore this is not in compliance with Article 28.6a of the 2015 Formula One Sporting Regulations and I am referring this matter to the Stewards for their consideration."
