GP2 has announced that there will be 11 rounds in next year's championship.

The return of the Austrian Grand Prix for the first time since 2003 means that GP2 will race at the Red Bull Ring for the first time.

The championship will also race at the inaugural Russian Grand Prix in Sochi.

The addition of Austria and Russia means that rounds in Malaysia and Singapore have been dropped.

GP3 will race alongside GP2 at nine of the 11 rounds, missing out on Bahrain and Monaco.

Both championships will finish alongside Formula 1 in Abu Dhabi in late November.
