Ferrari has confirmed that tyre guru Hirohide Hamashima will leave the team at the end of the year.
Hamashima has been with the squad since early 2012 in a bid to improve the relationship between the chassis and its tyres.
He had previously occupied the role of director of Bridgestone's tyre development during the Japanese company's spell in the sport between 1997 and 2010.
Hamashima is the latest big name to exit Ferrari, with the departures of Nikolas Tombazis and Pat Fry announced on Tuesday.
