Newly crowned Formula 3 Champion Esteban Ocon will receive his first Formula 1 test with Lotus in Valencia next week.
Ocon, 18, clinched the crown at Imola last weekend after opening up an unassailable lead over 2015 Toro Rosso driver Max Verstappen.
Ocon has been part of Lotus's junior programme since 2010 and will pilot their 2012 car, the E20, at the Ricardo Tormo circuit on October 22 to 23.
The test is part of his ongoing development with the scheme, as well as a reward for winning the Formula 3 title.
"I would like to thank Lotus and Gravity Management for this superb opportunity," said Ocon, who won the F3 title in his rookie campaign.
"The support and back-up I have been given since 2011 has enabled me to win the FIA Formula 3 Championship against some strong competition and I can’t wait to get started on the next step of my training.
"To drive a Formula 1 car has always been a dream of mine, so I can’t wait to get started."
