Caterham has confirmed that it has restructured its team following the squad's recent acquisition by new owners.

Tony Fernandes sold his team to a group of unnamed Swiss and Middle Eastern investors, with Colin Kolles advising new team principal Christijan Albers.

The team confirmed ahead of this weekend's German Grand Prix that they have parted company with a number of employees. Reserve driver Alexander Rossi, who also raced for the squad's now unrelated GP2 team, has also departed the set-up and will race for Campos in GP2.

Caterham confirmed that Manfredi Ravetto has become General Manager and Deputy Team Principal, with Simon Shinkins joining as Chief Operating Officer, as well as Miodrag Kotur who is now Team Manager.

'Michael Willmer is the team’s new Director of Legal Affairs and Gianluca Pisanello is promoted to Head of Trackside Engineering' continued a team statement.

'John Iley is now the team’s Technical Director, leading the work being done to improve the 2014 car and the 2015 new car project.'
