Calado takes pole in Spain

(GP2) James Calado will start Saturday's GP2 feature race from pole position.

Lotus GP's Calado was one of several drivers to take advantage of the Formula One rubber laid down and set his best time early on in the 30 minute session.

Calado will be joined on the front row by Fabio Leimer, who has won two GP2 races in Barcelona in the past.

Trident racer Stephane Richelmi will start from third, despite failing to score a point so far this season.

Championship leader Davide Valsecchi will be looking to move forwards after qualifying only seventh.

The feature race is live on Sky Sports F1 shortly after the conclusion of Formula One qualifying.
