Jenson Button will have to serve a time penalty during the Canadian Grand Prix after McLaren confirmed that it has replaced the MGU-H and turbo in his car.

Button stopped during the final practice session and missed out on qualifying as McLaren repaired his car.

Stewards have permitted Button to race but as he cannot serve a grid penalty, he will have to take a drive through penalty in the race.
