Valtteri Bottas is confident that Williams will be able to qualify within the top five places, despite a comparatively low key performance during practice for the British Grand Prix.
Bottas was only 12th quickest during the second practice session at Silverstone, having given up his seat in the first session to test driver Susie Wolff.
"Obviously missing the first practice it always takes a bit of time in practice two, so it felt like practice one for me getting used to the conditions but it didn’t feel too bad, but we need to see as it seems from the lap time that we have some work to do," he explained.
"First sector felt pretty good but I struggled especially in the last sector.
"I reckon tomorrow we should still be somewhere in the top five, we need to work to get more one lap performance in the Option but if we fix that it should be a lot better."
