Apr.7 (GMM) Fernando Alonso on Thursday smirked as he heard about Lewis Hamilton's depiction of him as Alain Prost.
"I see him (Alonso) as my Prost ... if you were to say 'choose a driver' I would clearly choose Ayrton (Senna). And maybe I would put him as Prost," McLaren driver Hamilton said recently.
The pair clashed memorably as McLaren teammates in 2007 and many still regard the duo as the ultimate rivals in modern F1.
Asked on Thursday if he agreed with Hamilton's Senna-Prost comparison, Ferrari's Alonso told EFE news agency: "If (like Prost) I win four world championships, I like it."
