By on Wednesday, February 2, 2011

Fernando Alonso was fastest on the second day of testing in Valencia.

The Spaniard set a time of 1.13.307s, ahead of Sebastian Vettel and Paul di Resta in the VJM03.

Lewis Hamilton was 4th in the McLaren MP4-25, followed by Robert Kubica and the HRT of Narain Karthikeyan.

The test saw 4 red flags, one each caused by Nico Rosberg, Paul di Resta, Rubens Barrichello and Sebastien Buemi.

Team Lotus focused on installation laps and Mark Webber only got an hour of running at the end, hence their respective slow times

The test continues tomorrow.
