Driving with Two Feet?

Post by e10rice » 17 Feb 2009, 21:40

This may be a dumb question but do most if not all drivers in F1 Drive with two feet (one foot on the brake, one on the gas)? Its very hard to do if your not use to it. I've tried in my own car and man braking is so difficult. My left foot had been use to a clutch so the depression of the brake pedal was hard (i tryied this on an automatic). yeah good thing the seat belt was on. i slowly got the hang of it but yeah not fun. Sorry if this is a dumb question. :p

no, not a dumb question ........in a formula1 car, it may be the case. but on a road car, it's like for safety reasons to use the same foot for the gas and brake pedal.

They all have the throttle on the right and the brake on the left. Except Rubinho; he has it the opposite way. Don't ask me why :p

with the straight cut gears now the right foot is mainly used for breaking... the art of heal and toe is being lost due to the semi auto gearboxes
