My GP for 2009

Post by JoostLamers » 08 Jan 2009, 22:08

Unfortunately, due to school, I'm not able to visit Monza in 2009, probably in 2010 again, who knows...? But of course me and some family will of course be visiting a GP in 2009 (Addicted, you know me  )

So, I went looking for the old location, the place that located my first 4 experiences of a GP-sunday: Nürburgring. And.. I didn't have to look any further! :) The last time we were walking home we went on a grandstand, the grandstand where Alonso passed Massa in 2007 for the lead, and eventually the win. So went looking for tickets for that particular grandstand, and it is within our budget. The tickets for the weekend (so not just the sunday, friday and saturday as well) are not yet bought, and we haven't looked for an hotel yet, but that all will come.

I posted this topic, to see if some of you have done a weekend in Germany, and have any (important) information for me, that maybe I don't know yet :O . And I will make a report/survey of the happenings after each day in Germany. I already can't wait!

maybe someday you could visit the asian races, malaysia, china, singapore or japan. of the 4, i think japan or china would be nice to visit. as for singapore and malaysia, it's hot in those places and you may not enjoy unless you go there a month or two earlier just to adjust and get used to the climate.

I would like to go to the asian ones one day, but when I go, might as well go for 2 GP's at one go since they are a week away from eachother.

This year I should be going to Valencia. Vacation leave already authorised :D

I believe Malaysia is in the late afternoon this year but not night.
Silverstone again for me this year, I hope its soaking wet and horribly cold and windy like last year. :)

I would like to go to Spa as I went there this year on holiday and walked some of the path by the track and stood by Eau rouge (when there was Clio testing;free entry) and the deal this year was:

Coach from London - Hotel and Hotel - track (and back :p)
3 nights B&B in hotel
Grandstand tickets for the Saturday and Sunday

£300 pp

I would love to visit the Singapore GP one day.

Plus I need a time machine to visit Hockenheim 95, Monza 96,98 and 2000, Imola 99 and Nürburgring 95 and 2006 :)
