Re: HAMILTON TO FERRARI??
Kimi had a bad time in Mclaren because of their reliability issues. But the iceman was bang on target whenever his car was manageable! Imagine if you put Massa in the same kind of reliability position he would be scrapping the bottom of the barrel for points !syncmaster wrote:Kimmi has only bad luck at the Mclaren no world titles he has luck at ferrari he is doing some mistakes but iam sure that he will be back and championship will be a three horse faceblizzard wrote:Yeah send Kimi back to McLaren I would have no problem with that. He was a totally different driver at McLaren, about two classes better. He´s just an average joe these days.fabcesc wrote:ridiculous! if so then i want kimi back where he belongs.
I have no problem in getting Kimi back. With Mclaren being strong in aero and Mercedes with an engine that's hasn't failed for almost 2 years now .. I think Kimi will throw everyone off the competition if he is back in Mclaren ...
Re: HAMILTON TO FERRARI??
I don't think he could ever leave Mclarends... he's been there for so long.... plus he wouldn't look good in red
Re: HAMILTON TO FERRARI??
hamilton to ferrari -- NO!
alonso to ferrari -- a possibility (2010)
kimi back @ mclaren -- how i wish!
lewis has a multi year contract - although as we saw last year with alonso, it's not written in stone

Don't go to Ferrari Lewis
Re: HAMILTON TO FERRARI??
Irvine urges Ferrari switch for Hamilton, though I rather see Vettel in Ferrari
Also Hamilton said earlier last season that he'd prefer to finish his career with McLaren.....

Re: HAMILTON TO FERRARI??
Yeh he actually grew up with Mclaren, he followed the talent-programme.
I think he will stay at Mclaren for his whole career and thats also what i hope he will.

Re: HAMILTON TO FERRARI??
well, i've heard in a cnn world sport news clip that lewis almost had a test driver seat at williams a few years back because of some disputes/issues with mclaren/ron dennis (???), but in the end eventually stayed with the mclaren programme.
to sum it up, it depends on the situation...nothing is written in stone now a days you know (except for things written in graves )

Re: HAMILTON TO FERRARI??
Unless McLaren go down the tubes it will never happen. Eddie Irvine has a motormouth and he probably said it to get more attention.
I do like the fact that he said this though:
"Having been there, I've seen what it's like and it's a different situation to being with any other team,"

Re: HAMILTON TO FERRARI??
Hamilton promised he will stay at Mclaren-Mercedes, when he was congratulated at Woking today.
"I love this team and im not planning to work for another team"

Re: HAMILTON TO FERRARI??
Ferrari have never made a team order - what about Kimi letting Massa past in China ? KR didn't exactly fight him on the track or deny letting him by in the post race interview. I can't say I blame him,, he did it for the team. However it was Ferrari that came up with the idea that drivers should compete with their team mates as hard as anyone else.
But I digress - Hamilton will not go to Ferrari as McLaren have got him where he is today, and despite being "arrogant" as some people say, I really believe he knows who has made him and has a massive loyalty to his makers.

Re: HAMILTON TO FERRARI??
He's still only 23 so he could easy have another 10 years in F1. who's to say what teams will be about in a few years time. f1 moves so quick if would be a fool to say that he will always be with mclaren until then.
Re: HAMILTON TO FERRARI??
if mclaren can manage a championship run just like in the mid/late 80's or like ferrari's run in 2000 to 2004, then it's most likely that he'll stay. but if it's the other way around and see mclaren slumping again, then i can't see him resist switching teams......
