Points handed out tomorrow, so is the championship... Maybe Hamilton already has done something to his car for rain preperations or fuel load. Who knows? I think it's clear that Massa is the lightest of them all, or maybe Trulli. Hamilton heavier for sure.
I won't be online on this forum tomorrow, and I won't watch live timing on the official F1 site. I just can't handle the pressure... I can't wait for the race tomorrow...

Awesome performance from Trulli despite having fever :)

Let's put it this way: I think Massa will be stopping very, very early and that's a high risk strategy. It doesn't provide for safety car or weather conditions, you know, we looked at all the variables, we fully appreciate that we have some degree of risk in regards of first corner or first lap accidents but to revert to a strategy that light is ... has a higher level of risk.

"Going light introduces a very difficult situation with safety car and if there is any sort of weather interruption in the first part of the race, because you are finished if you are super light. You need to have the ability to stretch your window."

If there is a bad weather or some accident, the safety car comes quite early in the race. We've seen many times that the ones who started light have managed to pit before the SC or at the same time with the others so heavier fuel load will actually bring no benefit.

if you are fast it doesnt mean that you are light.
Look at singapore.. massa and hamilton were just about pitting on same lap.
Lets hear at Massa's response, if he says a perfect lap then he is not light. At least that is what i think.

hehehe :) When another team not ferrari has the pole is always because they are light.... but not ferrari... :laugh1: :p
So true. And we will never know how less fuel Massa had in Singapore because all drivers got in pits in same lap due to SC. I think that Massa is light because the difference in times from Q1, Q1 and Q3 is so small. My prediction: Massa 2 laps lighter, Truli same as Massa, Kova 1 lap heavier than Massa and Raikkonen and Hamilton same fuel load.

See ya

Rob Smedley: "Very very good lap. Every now and again he does these stunning laps and hes done one. Its normal fuel. A stunning lap. I think he's pretty relaxed, we've come here to win pole and the race. The rest is with the Gods. All the pressure is with Lewis, as there's everything to lose. It forces you into funny decisions in the cockpit at 300km/h"

Press Conference:

Felipe Massa: "I think its a good fight between all three, but the people around are so amzing, the 3rd pole pos. in a row infront of the fantastic people which are 100% emotion about motor racing. For sure, we have a 73 laps tomorrow [71 felipe, 71 - phil] but we have proof that our car is very competitive, always good to be infront and i will do my best to win the race. I would say i was very comfortable and very quick around all the sessions."

Kimi looks dead bored sniffing his overalls.

"The problem was I started pretty early so If i back off in the last try and somebody improve he would have me a bit stupid, but anyway we have a good startegy.

Trulli: "I think this time i have to admit for the first time i thought i was not going to make it for friday as i felt really bad, but i thank the whole team for giving me what i need to be quick and i knew the car would be quick and ive been preparing and i saved tyres and put in a very good lap, we've been competitive so Im really happy for the team and the progress we made this season. To be honest the tyres were performing pretty well, but we need to handle them more in the race. Its quite a different situation. We need warmer temparature than what we had so far, so we wait for tomorrow".

Kimi: "mumble, mumble, mumble, mumble. I prefer to be 3rd rather than 2nd as its beter. I think we have a car to pull away like we have last year but we finish where we want and we see what happens" ITV then cut to an advert break

Lewis Hamilton: "Im comfortable with fuel. In front the guys have a different startgey, could be good could be bad. For sure, thats where he needs to be [massa] which is good for him and good luck to him. It would be nicer to be further up but with the strategy we have its OK.

Anyone feeling a silverstone repeat? Hamitlon 4th to 1st with the help of rain. Rain tomorrow?
