Thank you for the work you put into that phil!

I came up with some different ratings: Kubica 10/10 - he drove a marvelous race, great defence against Kimi, P2 with a struggling BMW, he maximised the result, watch Heidfeld :)

Kimi 8/10 - It was like a little "comeback", but the final step was missing, winning the race. Although he drove great today, but his pace was theoretically good enough to win.

Hamilton 1/10 - He threw it away at turn one, once again. Like in Brazil 2007 he was overagressive and unwise, he really has to learn, that races can´t be won in turn 1, but they can be lost. After the spin and the penalty he didn´t impress me at all, no comeback this time, finished in an unspectacular 12th place, the coming together with Massa wasn´t his fault though. Is still going to win the championship though.

Massa 5/10 - Suffered from the mess at the start, which put him back to 7th or 8th, lost out to Hamilton at the chicane, refused to give up and ran into Hamilton´s back. Felipe´s mistake, no doubt, but at least he showed some b*** and restrained Hamilton, which was important for him to gain some respect in the paddock and especially from Hamilton, because Felipe had the reputation to be a bit easy to overtake and too soft. He was brilliant in the late stages of the race, overtaking several cars and applying the move of the race on Webber.

is this dependant on the finishing position or the actual quality of driving??

Hi Phill i have some question for u
Why Massa is 1/10 and Hamilton 5/10 as both served the penalty.
Are u giving ratings on ur on?
Are u trying to be neutral or a Hamilton fan

I think Massa should get more(In neutral thinking not in Ferrari support) because he was right with lewis after the penalty but Hamilton did not pulled away from Massa like he did in monza from kimmi.I think u gave Hamilton 5 because he kept ITV commentator from not talking about Hamilton.i think Massa penalty was not because he hit Hamilton it was because other cars have to run off track because of his collision

Edit I use to liked ur rating phil but now iam losing hope

Hey, even if you don't agree with his conclusions, you gotta agree the kid has one hell of a sense of humour.

Massa has to be 1/10.

He was a a complete disgrace, ramming into cars like he was in dragsters. He should have a got a 10-sec stop and go, and another, for the avoidable crashes he was responsible for.

Complete disgrace.

Hamilton was 5pts/10 not 5/10. In reality i would have given 2 or 3 out of 10. If you dont agree with me, dont read 'em.

Well said Phil.

Everyone else, let Phil have his opinion, and give your own reasonably.

I think I gave mine resonably, and of course I respect yours. There isn´t a point where I didn´t.

btw: thx for the info phil, that 5pts/10 related to the championship standings and not a 5/10 rating.

Massa deserved a better score than Lewis, they were arond the same part of the circuit then Massa pulled away and deserved a world championship point (I don't think 2). Lewis didn't deserve anything after turn one, he ruined a lot of people's races, then didn't catch up after the penalty. Massa 5, Lewis 2. Kimi should stay, as he had damage after turn one, you can tell as he couldn't get past Kubica but Massa flew past Quick Nick. Massa isn't that good at overtaking! But I did like his Webber move!
