i do hope honda will be a top team someday, just like the old days @ willams-honda/mclaren-honda

They were a good engine partner, but seems like they cannot challenge the aerodynamic supremancy of Mclaren, Williams & Ferrari. Few years before aero dynamic improvement was attributed towards people who have a 1:1 wind tunnel ! But now even if you have that, it doesn't warrant any improved performance ! Renault seems to a example for that. Honda is the best fit ! They absolutely lack the drive to lead the championship. Jenson could have done well in 2004, but we should remember that Mclaren / Williams / Renault were ineffective in 04, which promoted Honda to 2nd spot ! Cmon Honda realize where you stand & better join with Williams and form a strong championship winning team !

Mclaren pace looks better than Ferrari.But it will be tough battle between Massa & Lewis.

This could turn out to be a boring race if Massa & Lewis occupy the front row !

I voted for Heikki btw, I think we could maybe see a bit of a strange race.
Quali will be close as well, practice today reminded me of China quali last year where the top 4 where within thousands of each other. (Q1 + Q2)

Doubt it.It should be dry and the track won't throw up too many crashes or retirements.Its a Massa track and a Massa race to me.

Many point to the Ferrari's power advantage as a deciding factor but that belies the fact that top end engine power isn't important for 80% of the lap. I think Ferrari and Toyota will have the opportunity if the race is a dry and warm one, but if there's rain it will be an unpredictable situation. I would vote for Massa.

How is it a Massa track and a Massa race? He wasn't as fast (albeit tenths or less) as Lewis nor did Massa show his speed like Bahrain or Turkey.

Because Massa thrives on tracks where you can make mistakes and get away with them,and on Tilke-dromes(Bahrain and Turkey are these things).He also does best in complete dry races without SC's.Massa generally wins the duller races,and this could be one of them.This track is both of those things.I'm not concerned by practice times,I read little into them.Glock was 18th in FP1 and 1st in FP2.BMW have been slow all year in practice and quicker in quali and race.

I agree with you, that Pracitce times don't say very much about the race result, but they always give a little trend, and Hamilton lead all the sessions, so he will be a rival of Massa for the race

In practices all team just work out their setup of their car and each team doesn't known about the fuel of others

In FP2, 20 drivers are seperated within just 1.6 seconds with Webber and Nakajima recording the same lap time. That's really amazing. A small mistake during quali might cost one or two rows, although we know some teams made quali runs and some did long runs.

The practice session are much more like the practice session in batracer, you need to have a perfect setup and then you dont care whether you are fast or not. You need to be fast when it matters.

Force India Mclaren Mercedes ????

A few days ago Vijay Mallaya was telling that he was having talks with honda. Basically, they want kers as well as the engine as a package because they would not want to build a kers system for a engine and then find out that they have to change their engine suppplier.!!
