1 Alonso did great better than ANYONE expected
2renault
3 hamilton on dc
4 alonso crossing finish
5 kimi, what a load of c**p gets fasted laps but drives a ferrari like he stole it, not sure he deserves his seat at ferrari. ferrari the worst team on race day, chuck the stupid traffic light system out.
6 not applicable today
7 not as much overtaking as i hoped
8 not the best race of the season interesting to see how massa got away with causing sutils crash as he rejoined the track on the face line right infront of him leaving him nowhere to go other than the barrier but he wont get penalised for it bur thats enough about me moaning about ferrari lets hope they get they're act together in 2 week time

1-Best Driver
Yeah, guess once! :) :) :)
Honorary mention to Rosberg who also drove a very good race.

2-Best Team
Renault for their master strategy, I'm going to marry Pat Symonds! McLaren for doing the best possible damage limitation for Hamilton after the SC. Williams for being up there.

3-Best Overtake
Ohhh there were several. RosbergNakajima/Alonso on Trulli, Hamilton on DC maybe the best ones because these guys are HARD to overtake!

4-Best Moment
About 20 laps from the end when Rosberg had done his last pit stop and I realized Alonso probably was going to win this...
I actually started crying....

5-Worst Driver
Piquet & Kovalainen. OK, Piquet was REALLY useful to the team this time, but what can you say about a guy who crashes out in almost every race? And Kovalainen. As I've said before, he's driving a McLaren, not a Force India! I'm not expecting him to beat Hamilton or anything, but he's relatively speaking as much off Hamilton's pace as Piquet is off Alonso's!

Worst Team
Ferrari, oh Ferrari. What on earth has happened to you?
You used to be the masters of pitstops but now you look as a bunch of girl scouts practising for the next pram race! And if you continue like this you'll soon run out of refuelling guys... :pout:

6-Best Rookie
Both the "real" rookies were c**p so I have to pick Nakajima who did an excellent job.

7-Biggest Surprise
Many. Massa's fuel rig, the SC penalties, Kimi crashing for no appearant reason, Alonso winning.... :p

8-General Comment
A race to rembember, not only because of Alonso's win, but because of all other weird things that happened. The track was better than expected, overtaking was possible and in all honesty I didn't even pay any attention to the "night" bit. It was fun to see in FP1 maybe, but the novelty wore off pretty quickly.

Why, do you think that Ferrari isnt racing the same way??? This is the first time that I can remember that a championship will be given to the team that did the less mistakes than the other...

Errr...sorry but the team which makes less mistakes than the other ALWAYS wins. You don't get any points for making mistakes as far as I know, but being error free usually does the trick. And a good car of course, but both Macca & Ferrari have covered that bit. If McLaren win it this year they do it fair and square.

1-Best Driver
A toss up between Rosberg and Alonso.. Both were brilliant. :)
2-Best Team
Renault, for their teamwork (Piquet :p), and their strategical nous (Symonds)
3-Best Overtake
Hamilton on Coulthard at turn 7
4-Best Moment
Piquet crashes (because I knew what it would do to the race!!)/Piquet's gay run, Alonso takes the lead, Alonso crosses the line, Alonso receives the ugliest trophy ever.. Barrichello throws his gloves into the water.
5-Worst Driver & Worst Team
Sutil for sympathy crash, Ferrari for being thoroughly c**p (drivers, lights, mechanics)
6-Best Rookie
Glock. Bourdais and Piquet were either anonymous, or in the wall.
7-Biggest Surprise
Der!! Renault winning :)

8-General Comment
YES, YES, YES! I just watched this on ITV ctach up at 4 in the morning, cos the wankers in my hall set the fire alarm off (at 2.10 AM and made us sit in the cold for 45 minutes - I hadn't had time to watch it at 1:00PM, ironically enough, given that it's manufactured for European time, so anyway, I couldn't be bothered to go back to sleep, and I hadn't heard the result, so I thought, why sleep, watch the race?? Man am I glad.. :)

Yeah, the naysayers will say Fernando was so lucky, which he was, but like Kubica at Montreal, and in a way Piquet at Hock', Alonso had the pace to ride his luck.

Singapore!! I love the track. I loved the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix, I love F1.

Taking into account Kimi's performances, I suppose u'r absolutely right!

My comment had to do with Heiki. He is too "indifferent", according to me, even for a 2nd driver...

Lucky he was, but he had the pace both before and after the Pace Car, and cleared Jarno Trulli beforehand, which effectively got him the win. Otherwise, Rosberg would have won.
