Re: What are the best drives in F1 history?
Raikkonen : Suzuka 2005, Remember his risky overtaking on the last lap?
Hakkinen : Spa 2000, after leading the race, he spun and then comeback to win the race (Brilliant race)
I've never seen Senna raced in F1 anyway coz I was born in 1992
So, I didn't put him on my list

Well, every time I think about a example of superb drive, Donington 1993 comes up to my mind.
Overtaking FIVE cars in a single lap... It was more than impressive... In my opinion, the best lap of the Formula One history... No one but Senna could do it.

Re: What are the best drives in F1 history?
i would also consider alonso - hungary 2003
Re: What are the best drives in F1 history?
Hill at the 1997 Hungarian GP is the ultimate underdog perfomance. In an Arrows with an underpowered engine,Hill qualified 3rd,took the lead, had a 30 second lead before a throttle problem lost him the race on the last lap.Vettel's performance at Monza just about matches that.

Sorry, matey, I mean individual drives. Not driversrenaultf106 wrote:Fernando Alonso best driver on the tray
Like for instance Fernando Alonso at Britain 2006, judging by your username. And (looking at my avatar) I agree. It was a stunning drive, would have scored a Grand Chelem were it not for Giancarlo Fisichella running one lap in the lead.
No, I'm not calmer. Just more jaded.

Hakkinen at spa 2000
