That is so ugly or maybe i'm just not use to seeing the rear wing being that narrow. Any one running the front wing yet? Isn't it suppose to be able to move or something like that?

is that the required spec. for 2009? maybe it's just their innovation or something? but for sure - it's really ugly.

Yep..
And if you think that the cars will be wider, the rear wing will therefore be narrower in comparison. I just hope that with all the other 2009 spec bits, the car will look better.

it does look funny. almost like a caricature.

to me all this "its because of overtaking" sounds a bit plausabile. we have some epic racing in GP2 and no car looks hideous like that!

why not give em Monza spec rear wings for all races! Slicks, no winglets, big wings...

...SEX!

You kind of get used to it. But it certainly can't be called pretty. I loved the cars from about '98 to '99 at Monza = thin wings, no stupid aero - I would never call a piece of carbon fibre and metal sex, because personally I prefer flesh, but they certainly looked awesome. :p

By the way, it's a bit of hazy photoshop work, but this is what I thought that the 2009 cars would look like, and having seen this, what i think they SHOULD look like:
