Post by syncmaster » 08 Sep 2008, 14:32

Can kimi Raikkonen win the world championship?
Can he beat Massa and Hamliton?
Can he win all the five races?
Will kimi support Massa?
Will Ferrari tell him to help Massa?
Has really kimi lost his motivation?
Has kimi forgot that he is a world champion or He is feeling like whatever may happen he will WDC?
IS kimi really inlucky in formula1(loosing WDC 2 times)?
Is this third time that kimi will loose a WDC ?

Just wanted to start a thread on kimi,so lets talk on kimi. What do u say guys?

i really want him to keep fighting, and, if i lived in my perfect world, he would win the world championship. however, if it becomes clear that kimi isnt going to win the WDC, i think he should help massa, so that at least a Ferrari driver wins instead of hamilton

no
in single races yes - overall in 2008 no
if miracles happen yes, otherwise no
yes
don't think they have to tell him, he knows what to do
no, that's journo c**p
don't understand the question  He can't win this year regardless if he was 10 times WDC and of course he knows that.
no, he got a rather lucky WDC last year for example. :D
you don't lose WDCs - you win them.

I think if Kimmi's chances are over in the championship then he will definitely help Massa because one cant see his team losing the championship and most important thing is he has fight as the constructors title will go to the last race(that's 100% sure)

I have heard he is retireing so I don't think he will go for it as much. Ferrari said that he is to help Massa overcome Hamilton in the championship.

Source Espnstar.com
"I came here to win and I came close," remarked Raikkonen.

"In the final laps the track conditions were very critical, and unfortunately I ran wide, and when I tried to get back on track I spun and ended up in the wall, which was a shame.

"The arrival of the rain definitely did not help. In these conditions, if you are in front you have to be more cautious as you don't know how much grip you'll find in each braking area.

"That's how Hamilton managed to close on me and then you all saw what happened.

"It's the second race in a row I've failed to score points.

"Clearly the championship situation is what it is, but I'm not the sort to give up that easily."

-Well technically, yes he can.
-Again he can but i doubt it'll actually happen but after the result from Spa, who knows.
-He should considering Massa helped him at the final race last year (no team order :p ).
-Yes, Ferrari wants to win the WDC and since Massa is only 2 points behind going into Monza...why not.
-Who knows LOL he's the Iceman.
-I don't think luck have anything to do with it this season ( except maybe France and Valencia i guess).

Can kimi Raikkonen win the world championship?
-Maybe not anymore this season.
Can he beat Massa and Hamliton?
-Yes.
Can he win all the five races?
-Maybe three or four, but not all of them.
Will kimi support Massa?
-Maybe on the last races.
Will Ferrari tell him to help Massa?
-Most likely yes.
Has really kimi lost his motivation?
-I think he is using too much time to everything else than racing, and he isn't really interested about doing so much work as the others, he just does so well because of his massive talent.

Will Ferrari tell him to help Massa? No

IS kimi really inlucky in formula1(loosing WDC 2 times)? Unreliability can't be claim as unlucky.Although most of the driver & ppl feel so ..

Is this third time that kimi will loose a WDC ? - what? ... i m not astrologer :p
Kimi has already lost more than 3 WDC.

i'll pass on the questions coz my answer would just be the same as the other posts. but i would just like to comment that kimi's bad luck almost always strikes at the worst possible time. but when he's lucky, it really pours for him :D :D :D

Ferrari extend Raikkonen's contract
Autosport wrote:Ferrari have extended reigning world champion Kimi Raikkonen's deal to the end of the 2010 season, ending speculation that Fernando Alonso will be joining the team.

A team statement read: "Ferrari announces that it has extended its agreement with Kimi Raikkonen to the end of the 2010 race season.

"Therefore, the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro driver line-up remains unchanged for the next two coming seasons."

Raikkonen's teammate, Felipe Massa, signed a deal through to the end of 2010 last year.

He's taking it one year at a time from now on as he probably doesn't want to make long contracts anymore. Of course he doesn't have to either as he is in a position to have something to say about the contract's details too.

Anyway, I guess Alonso has to start to look at longer term options now instead of trying to switch between teams hoping that Ferrari has a seat ready for him at some point. Because he might have to wait for a while now. :O
