2008 FORMULA 1 Belgian Grand Prix

You've completely misquoted that as he said on the outside.phil1993 wrote:Hamilton: "I very rarely get overtaken. I do the overtaking"
But Lewis never gets overtaken on the outside. Except on Sundays.

Nah Ron Dennis never knows was anything is about, he's always an innocent lamb. :oh:iceman1 wrote:Ron dennis :
"First of all we don't know what the investigation is about. One assumes it was the incident between Kimi and Lewis at the chicane. First of all, Lewis was ahead at the chicane and he got pushed wide. He definitely was in the lead coming out of the chicane, we immediately radioed him to let Kimi past. We let Kimi past and then overtook him again before the line.
Inevitably, we wanted to know whether we had actually, that was deemed to be a correction of that, and we checked with Charlie [Whiting, Race Director], of course Charlie can only give an opinion, he's not the stewards, but he gave an opinion that we had complied properly to the regulations. I would even dispute that there was any fault because we had the corner in the chicane, but even if we didn't have the corner we let Kimi back in the lead."
Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

If you need a distraction from a GP that both sucked and blew (in terms of result) just take a look at the member list on the main page..
No, I'm not calmer. Just more jaded.

also, Kimi changed direction twice, so he has to be questioned about it too.

Kimi had deserved the race but lottery did the talking. Lewis was much faster in the last stint but I'm not sure whether he could overtake Kimi. Poor Kimi, 23 points behind now. Since he has still mathematical chances, I wonder Ferrari will force him to help Felipe.

If the FIA hand out penalties for that it will be a complete farce.

"Kimi pushed me wide there, I was a bit ahead and I was on the outside of turn one," Hamilton said. "I had no room so he basically pushed me to where I would have been on the kerb and hit him, or take the escape road, and I knew I had to let him wide and had another go at him into turn one. He hit me at the apex of the first corner but after that I was gone."
"It was an experience and a half, I could see Kimi ahead and after the second pit stop he was so far ahead and I was wondering how he got such a gap, but I got stuck in traffic. I was pushing hard and he was responding and hoping he would catch traffic, it was just mix and match. I was just praying for it to rain because I knew how to deal with it. So the heavens opened a bit and I saw Kimi back off a lot, brake a lot earlier than he did in turn eight and then I knew the fight was on. I was going into turn 12 and going reasonably wide, but I think it was Rosberg there and I almost hit him, I think Kimi almost did too. Then Kimi spun and I got back past, it was great."
