Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Belgian Grand Prix
judging by the mess the stewards have made so far in the GP2 races i expect the highlight of this race to be yet another inconsistent inapropriate decision by them.
the big question is... who will it be this time? Lewis? Massa? Heikki? or Kimi?
(i know who i've got my money on!)

for Monza and Shanghai (GP2 Asia), we create a '2008 GP2 Monza Thread', in GP2 where we can discuss, OK?iceman1 wrote:yeah this thread is Good For news , not for discussions.
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Belgian Grand Prix
Why don't we just create the normal F1 thread saying "2008 FORMULA 1 Italian Grand Prix and Support Races at Monza" ? ;)

Has anyone mentioned yet that Raikkonen has a new chassis for this weekend? Ferrari gave it to him in the hope it would improve his performance.
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Belgian Grand Prix
I strongly categorically disagree with this idea with all my heart. In 55 pages even when race isn't started yet, there is a fair discussion (which I really love) but when you add GP2 and Porsche Cup, it will be a mass for those F1 followers to ctach the comments and infos. If people wants to talk support races, then a new forum division -instead of a thread- can be created for them, which is actually present namely GP2 2008.Stoegi wrote:Why don't we just create the normal F1 thread saying "2008 FORMULA 1 Italian Grand Prix and Support Races at Monza" ? ;)

Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Belgian Grand Prix
yes, i agree with Ali, but create a separate gp2 thread inside 'GP2' for each race, as although its good to have new members and lots of discussion, talking (too much) about GP2 shouldn't happen. I hold my hands up and say sorry for that. I won't talk about GP2 in this thread or future threads like this again (unless it has relevant info such as weather for F1)
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Belgian Grand Prix
Ok, if everyone strongly stops talking about GP2 here, eventually more people will visit the GP2 forum.

Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Belgian Grand Prix
Well it ain't improved his performance. He's qualified poorly and will probably need luck to win the race.
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Belgian Grand Prix
Alonso is seeking for a lottary other than an ordinary race in order to clinch his first podium, maybe his first victory. Or, he's just really boredAutopsport - QA with Alonso wrote:Q. Do you prefer it to be dry or wet?
FA: I prefer maybe variable conditions – start with dry, then wet for 10 laps and then dry again. Races like that can make it very interesting. Maybe you are completely wrong with your decisions and you finish 15th but at least there is something to do. If not, it will be maybe a boring race.
For midfield competetion, Heidfeld is lighter than his team mate and Kubica may be heavier than Alonso, who may be the same or lighter with or than Webber. Bourdais and especially Vettel will likely be very very heavy. Glock will also be very heavy. Last year, Button, Kovalainen and Liuzzi were one-stopper so we will see some mid field guys to be one stopper, possibly Vettel, Glock.
Fuel predictions as per the top four, I guess Lewis will be the lightest and Kimi is the heaviest. Massa may be 1 or 2 lap heavier than Lewis.

Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Belgian Grand Prix
I think Massa's lighter. From Kubica back I think most people will 1-stop.But hopefully rain will mess these strategies up.With Alonso's comments,I feel for him. He's had a poor car, driven the wheels of it,and if he got on the podium through variable conditions,he'd deserve it.

Fuel Predictions: Lightest: Lewis - Massa- Heikki - Kimi heaviest
