The commentators on the Live feed say that Ferrari made a mistake coming out so late.
After all the problems Ferrari had in the wet at Silverstone I just can't believe a few laps running in the wet would be such a bad idea for them.

Yeah, what was it, 9 spins in 59 (ham lapped 'em) laps with a huge pit stop error. they can think their problems, pit reelated, engine, wet weather will just go away if they say 'we've solved the problem'

I missed it but seems like an odd session.BMW are usually slow as in practice so to see them top is surprising. If Ferrari cocked up again in a wet-dry situation they've gotta sort it out.Heads may have to roll.

i think massa was just going cautiously.
he was setting personal best after personal best. the only thing was he did not get enough time.

Hmm... little sticky weekend for Kimi. Massa's strong and looks like, that Heikki is little more faster than Lewis. Pole to Heikki isn't unpossible afterall. Massa or Heikki to pole.

Nah, Lewis has it over Kovy. He was able to bang one in on his first real flying lap, in worse conditions that kept him at the top until Nick took over. I think he was sandbagging after that.

so what's your Prediction for the Qualifying ?

I kinda hope it rains just so massa can show that silverstone was just a really bad day for him , Massa is good, but very concerned he loses confidence and focus when he loses grip.

i expect Sutil to fair well this weekend, like he did last year here

Dry:

1. Massa
2. Hamilton
3. Raikkonen

Wet:

1. Hamilton
2. Raikkonen
3. Alonso

I think Massa is on a roll. Not just on the back of one good result, but on two "man of the race performances".

Also, I think it's the Ferrari that's bad in the wet, not necessarily Massa, although he's not exactly good, but his usual trend in the wet (2006 Hungarian, 2006 Chinese, 2007 European, 2007 Chinese, 2007 Japanese) is to go slowly but surely without spinning a great deal. Silverstone was just a blip, IMHO.
