I hope Raikko will win the Grand Prix, but since i heard that his problem with the 08 ferrari is the way the car dosnt fit well his drivin style in the turns... i think Massa will have good chances.

Looks like TwistedArmco is a die hard fan of Alonsophil1993 wrote:Yes, I am fully aware that F. Alonso retired from the 2004 Belgian Grand Prix with an oil leak after spinning at Les Combes with oil on his tyres, spun again at Rivage due to this. I meant nothing against Alonso and was not criticising him in any way. I'm sorry if any people have misinterpreted my comment in this way.TwistedArmco wrote: On another note, Alonso didn't end up in the Rivage gravel of his own accord. He was running second when his engine began spitting oil onto his tyres, and he spun off on his own oil.

Hamilton "The last two races for Massa were impressive but I actually consider our car the most competitive overall," he said.
i see now?? in the past mclaren was fast in slow circuits but now are fast in fast circuits
i don´t think so, over the year we saw ferrari fastest in fastest circuits like turkey.
i think ferrari its ahead in spa not for a whole second but maybe for .400
hamilton its wrong....

Peace Phil, just wasn't sure if you were aware.. Gotta stick up for my man sometimes..phil1993 wrote:Yes, I am fully aware that F. Dunno about die-hard, but yeah, I am his fan (take a look at the sig) more thn anyone else's by a long way, and I will defend him where reasonable. Because Alonso-bashing is a popular sport nowadays.syncmaster wrote:Looks like TwistedArmco is a die hard fan of Alonso
He's shooting himself in the foot there. He is basically admitting that Massa beat him fair and square in a slower car twice. Only play the press game if it gives you a distinct psychological advantage - with no catches like this one.lealjaime wrote:Hamilton "The last two races for Massa were impressive but I actually consider our car the most competitive overall," he said.

Predition:
Friday morning to be dry, but in the afternoon it looks likes it's going to rain for sure.
Saturdaymorning only little showers, and the afternoon should be dry.
Sunday starts with sunshine, but clouds will be coming in the afternoon, the chance of rain is 40%.
Temperatures this weekend will be between 15 and 18 degrees celsius, with 17 degrees on raceday...

Try and go to one of the faster corners like Pouhon,Eau Rouge,Blanchimont if you can,see the cars work at their best.Or the stand after La Source that witnessed the biggest shunt in F1 history...hahakla wrote:hello

Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Belgian Grand Prix
Rain is good for KR and LH and others such as Alonso and Vettel, but not for Massa.
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Belgian Grand Prix
I hope Massa has a "Danger!" sign on his car because if its wet he'll become an automotive washing machine.
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Belgian Grand Prix
That spin was the best 360 ever in a F1 car. The sound of tyres I just love. (The first one I mean)TwistedArmco wrote:On another note, Alonso didn't end up in the Rivage gravel of his own accord. Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Belgian Grand Prix
i dont think i would consider massa weak in wets specially because of his performance in silverstone. he has been quick in wets as well.phil1993 wrote:Rain is good for KR and LH and others such as Alonso and Vettel, but not for Massa.
I don't think Silverstone shows as much about Massa's abilities as it does about how badly set up the car was. There's a great article on why hamilton is so good in the wet on ITV-F1.com (http://www.itv-f1.com/Feature.aspx?Type ... s&id=43327) which talks about his inate sense of how much throttle to use in conditions like those at Silverstone, using power oversteer to force the car round the corners without losing momentum. Brundle was speculating that Massa's car seemed to be set up with a real on-off throttle, giving him no chance to control the car that way - the slightest dab and it spun out on him.
just a small thing i would like to say here because i dont want to open a new topic for that. I have been noticing that thread where iceman1 has posted the links to forums rules and then telling users not to spam, and there was anpther post beneath which was actually an advertisement of a clothes or shoes company and it was not removed but it had recentloy been removed. Its so funny where that guy posted that advert and it was there for quite a long time. Did anybody else notice that. I was laughing loud when I first saw that.
