They were slower being as the fact they were for the majority of the race they were stuck behind the mid-field.shail69 wrote:but still they were slower than the ferrari and dont forget about kimi's exhaust.

Massa is definitely more hungrier for a WDC than Kimi is for a repeat , I think Kimi needs more than just a win at Spa - he needs Massa to score low or not at all in order to have much chance of being the driver that Ferrari back.

if there is no surprise .. the scuderia will score anather victory on Spa .. i'd rather hve Massa on kimi .. because he's hungry for the championchip morethan Kimi .. although Kimi's wining will make the race for the title more exciting .. Go scuderia

Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Belgian Grand Prix
It´s september this time, in the past we even had bad weather when Spa took place in late August. So i have no doubt, that it will rain at least once during the weekend.
If it rains Hamilton will take another big win, because the only person who could challenge him is in the wrong car.
If it´s dry on Sunday and Qualifying went pretty normal, it will be a close fight between Hamilton and Massa.
I expect Kimi to be in the middle of nowhere once again. 5th or 6th in qualifying and 3rd or 4th in the race, at best.

If Kimi has a good qualifying then will be strong in the race and i think it will be a Ferrari 1-2 as it was last yaer. However, Hamilton is also on the move. If there's rain it will be an easy win for him.
And always look at the mid-field teams. One of them will strike back. I'm expecting Williams or Red Bull, if they have reliable cars.
A little prediction for a dry race:
1/Kimi 2/Massa 3/Hamilton 4/Kubica 5/Kovalainen 6/Rosberg or Nakajima 7/Webber, maybe Coulthard 8/Heidfeld

I hope not..iceman1 wrote:I think Ferrari's race speed will be affected by their engine issues.
I have no idea whats going on in Maranello, but seriously they need to get there act together.
Ferrari's Reliability issues is getting scary and it is a main factor for wining, not only for the drivers but of course for the constructors championship.
As for Kimi.. ohhh Kimi, I don't know whats hes deal is, but not because I'm a fan of him but lets face it the guy had some tough luck lately.. from a damaged exhaust pipe, to an McLaren running on his behind to an engine failure and the list goes on. I'm not denying that his performance is declining lately but I believe that he will fight back at Spa
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Belgian Grand Prix
Kimi is still the best driver, he just couldnt get it right the latest races, helped by bad luck. And his quali was better than Massa's concerning fuel load. And yes kimi is hungry, he wants to get over the bad stuff, and be a champion again.

this is kimis track. if he doesnt win here they i'm afraid he might as well just go rallying before the end of this season.
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Belgian Grand Prix
If that is the case, it would be better for Ferrari to have Massa as world champion on the books than a retired one. coz the marketing would be easierscermat wrote:this is kimis track. if he doesnt win here they i'm afraid he might as well just go rallying before the end of this season.
