Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 European Grand Prix
I honestly expected a penalty as they investigated it.
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 European Grand Prix
The FIA are riduculous. These thousand euro fines for being slightly late for press conferences and minor pit lane offences are ludicrous.

Why? Investigation doesn't automatically lead to a penalty.Fergie1 wrote:I honestly expected a penalty as they investigated it.

That's pretty stupid. At least, they should do it or always or never.. but not sometimes....AzShadow wrote:10,000 euro fine for Alonso:

Hamilton complains!

Alonso's request for a minutes silence will be granted but some of the drivers will turn up to the front of the grid late and others will talk through it.
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 European Grand Prix

becuase he is going to start to say its FIA its versus mclaren.... when get penalty for that

He cut a corner once in France which completely unrelated to Hamilton getting stuck behind other cars in a practice session.lealjaime wrote:by the way somebody explain to hamilton, he can´t cut curves and overtake someone...

Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 European Grand Prix
My favourites for the race are Räikkönen, Massa and Hamilton. Alonso will play a part in qualifying, because he will start light as in Barcelona. I hope Vettel can play a part on Sunday, he´s really the biggest German talent at the moment. I hope the race will have some more action and drama than the two free practice sessions today.
off topic: I was a bit dissapointed by the extra large rounout areas. It´s ok to have some tarmac rounout areas, but these football pitch like areas are too much for me. Mistakes don´t get punished anymore, you have these runoff areas plus anti stall. Sometimes I wish the late 90´s back.

I think there should be less run-off at turns 2 and the final turn. after the bridge is ok, but its hardly a street track, its wider than Montreal even. The track is spectacular, but i feel Singapore will be more action-packed.

Agree, but there are still places where there will be crashes in the crash, I'm sure of that!!phil1993 wrote:I think there should be less run-off at turns 2 and the final turn. after the bridge is ok, but its hardly a street track, its wider than Montreal even.
