he definitely needs a win now, to stay in the battle for the champoinship. If Hamilton wins again and just finishes 6th or 7th or even retires, its almost over for him...ScuderiaFan wrote:well .. i think raikkonen will be competitve .. he should stop playing around and win again .. he hasn't win since spain back in april i guess .. so stay tuned for the iceman

Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 European Grand Prix
From the videos posted, we can see that the track has been designed with ample run off spaces. These are good. I don't think wall would be a problem, because it seems like a pretty wide circuit which can accommodate three cars to run in parallel ! That's simply not the case with Monaco. This track would probably be another Monte Carlo but with lots of over taking opportunities !
So spaniards pls comment on the spanish summer. Do you experience downpours ? In my place summer means unpredictable rain and shine !

I really don't know anything about the track
I think both Ferrari and McLaren will be competitive here and watch out for BMW and Toyota as well
I'm still confuse to decide my answer in the prediction league

Very interesting track, it seems, till now.
Let's hope we have a nice and smooth race, which I doubt :P

So do you think there will be any rattle in the FP and Q?
Will Vettel be qualify down under 15th ? Will Williams pull it togather and be 7th like in Monaco ??
And how is FIA gonna handle the pressure from the drivers and teams about blocking other drivers?! My personal opinion about the penelty for blocking Heidfeld was just so wrong. Heidfeld must understand that he cant just go out when its 30 sec left and think that everybody will move out of the way. Especally whens its Q1 we are talking about, then everybody is trying thier best.

Bourdais was on a out lap, Heidfeld was on a hot lap its quite clear to see who's fault it is so Bourdais should get out of the way.jagevall wrote:And how is FIA gonna handle the pressure from the drivers and teams about blocking other drivers?! I'm afraid theres no rule about when you can go out to do a lap so basically you've got it wrong.
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 European Grand Prix
This looks like an exciting grandprix. can't wait
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 European Grand Prix
off topic: Bourdais was in the last corner. and that makes no dofference whether he was on an outlap or flying lap.heidfied on the other hand wa not fast. He might have not done enough to claer q1. but he just got an excuse to make.Fergie1 wrote:Bourdais was on a out lap, Heidfeld was on a hot lap its quite clear to see who's fault it is so Bourdais should get out of the way.I'm afraid theres no rule about when you can go out to do a lap so basically you've got it wrong.jagevall wrote:And how is FIA gonna handle the pressure from the drivers and teams about blocking other drivers?! At the end of the two long straights (after turn 3 and after turn 6) you get close to 320km/h.

Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 European Grand Prix
Even though I am a Ferrari fan and it seems that tracks like this dont suit to our car perfectly, I am looking forward to this track and hopefully we have Monaco, Valencia and Singapore again in 2009.
