Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 European Grand Prix
Safety car will almost definately come out. And that start: a fast, fast right hander like at Hock' (except obviously not as fast) with a tight right hander following like at Hock' (except they arrive at a slower speed than they do at Hock'): a recipe for trouble on the first lap, especially with people unsure which line to take/when to brake on the inside line.
I would bet (some, not a lot of) money on a first lap incident.

No, I'm not calmer. Just more jaded.

well, i think that the safety car will come out during the race once at least. i also would expect that a practice session or even qualifying will be red-flagged due to incidents on track.
As TwistedArmco I would also say that not all cars will get through the first lap

Track is just full of walls, even worse than Monaco. I really wonder how drivers will cope with such devastating concerete blocks. Maybe, we'll get another Wall of Champions of Kimi and Alonso as they're the only ones in the field who became WDC

Hahaha, I really hope it:p But on the other side: my uncle says that if Hamilton is still in the lead of the championship, when we start to travel to Monza, I can't come with them Then I said, that he only can join, If Alonso is in the lead of the championship:blizzard wrote:joostlamers wrote:Can't wait!! Yepp, me too, new track, lot of dust, not a lot of grip.. But I think the accident will happen in midfield, then I'm thinking of the numbers 8 and downTwistedArmco wrote:I would bet (some, not a lot of) money on a first lap incident.
