Seeing the engine go up in smoke was a common aspect for Mclaren when Kimi was driving ... How many times do we see a Ferrari engine failing to live up ??

I think it was Suzuka 06 when we last saw a Ferrari engine faliure. Massa had possibly the best race of his career and got nothing from it,while Hamilton's yet to have a mechanical faliure in his whole career. Luck favours Lewis.

Massa had engine failure Australia this year, but no not many Ferrari failures.

I do hope so, cause I'll be there and I don't want to see LIVE something like today's nightmare... I'm happy that I chose to go to valencia and not in hungary... I'm so f*%$& sorry for massa...

I think Ferrari's magic had turned down to them
as they prefaired Massa the engine had it's own word . i hope
Kimi Iceman come on top as he deserves and keep the title with his name.

well massa didnt actually win the race but he is the winner. the only thing he does not have as a winner is that trophy and 10 points.

I've never understood patriotism. But I sure am happy for Timo Glock. Whether it's due to luck or skill, the next generation (Glock, Piquet, Kubica, Vettel, Kovalainen) are getting good results.
No, I'm not calmer. Just more jaded.

Feeling sorry about Massa, he deserved that win, he was agressive but fair, he could take advantage of hamilton`s problem to recover even more points with a great race without any mistake what so ever but that`s racing, notthe 1st time it happened and i`m sure it won`t be the last....." To finish first, first you have to finish !". Great day for Glock and Toyota, with these results we`ll have Toyota in f1 a couple of years more, wich is always a good thing.

I have a question: What would happen if Massa's engine had blown up in the last meters but enough to see chequered flag yet not enough to turn to parc ferme? Would it still count a win for Massa although he didn't make it to the park area?

Hmmm, yeah i think so, why not ? He would cross the finish line after all, there were some situations in the past when drivers stopped in the celebration lap without fuel (example) and they were declared winners or their points secured anyway.

The start that Massa did was just impressive, and thourghout the whole race F.Massa was just flying! the best race in his carreer I would say. But sadly he had a failure and he got zero pts. Im really feeling sad for his sake!

And Hamiltons punction? Was it not caused by himself when he locked his brakes for a bit to long into corner two ? The speakers said it was caused by something elese but i doubt it.

But in all this unluckyness i must take of my hat to Heikki. He finaly got a P1 to put down in his racing sack.
The same to Timo, its a big step for Timo but a gaint step for Toyota, as Armstrong would of said ;)

my final thoughts about this race is that Hamilton dose'nt look as confident as he did before this race all due to Massas driving skills ths afternoon. It might be Massa that saved this championship from starting to be a wining dragrace for Hamilton to a curvey old gravel road.
