I really like the way Mark Blundell was commentating besides Murray Walker in Canada 1999.

The BBC should appoint Blundell and Brundle as commentators next year.

Does anybody else find james allen really annoying?

Post by alonso5 » 29 Jul 2008, 09:54

Personally, I think he's a bit too hyper active and screams way too much
He's also extremely biased towards hamilton and barely focuses on other racers
I hope he's not going to the bbc next year. I heard that one possibility is the guy who does the yearly fia reviews, which sounds like a better proposition to me

I think there is another thread to discuss about the irritating James Allen.

Michael Schumacher ?? No i don't think so its possible. But the combination might be good. Its very likely that David Coulthard might take that option pretty soon.

Die an orgasmic death?

Unfortunately (for Jense of course) that will never, ever happen.
No, I'm not calmer. Just more jaded.

Yeah he is. His gridwalks are good and he knows what he's talking about.Admittedly he's become part of Lewistyria (see Brazil 07,Bahrain 08 when he accuses Alonso of brake-testing Hamilton) but he's still a good commentator. I'm pretty sure he'll be at the BBC next year

Amen, Brundle is one of the good guys. Patriotism is admirable. Massive over-patriotism, and lots of shouting (James Allen) is not admirable.

But Brundle only rarely overdoes it, whereas James is a c**p commentator at the base of it and then adds all of his jingoism to that base.

Brundle+Davidson/Cox/Edwards for the BBC..
