I think it designed for not only extra power but also energy efficiency which helps to reduce green house effect or some other environmental issues. In road cars, turbo engines do the similar thing re-using exhaust gas to produce more hp at the same fuel level (heat input). KERS will use the kinetic energy formed whenever a car is decelerated (=braking). So, energy (=hp) will be much more than that of with the same heat input thus increasing efficiency.

I always love all changes that increase efficiency :)

Honda have increased the length of their exhausts, The rear wing is also different from the one used in Germany, this is a low downforce design

Honda look to suspension to move forward

Honda will try a new rear suspension at this week's test at Jerez, hoping that it will allow them to improve their car's handling.

The interesting thing about Mclaren's version of BMW's "Antler Wings" is that they are being tested on the car WITH the bridge wing

I really hope so, whenever I saw testing pics this year which teams claimed were done with 09 aero setup, they still had those double layer front wings and winglets at the back. They should go back to 95 oder 96 aero setup and freeze it. And at the same time release engines for development.
I really hate these front wings which were first introduced in 2006 I think.
